This exclusive food market is a definite Tauranga destination. Every Saturday morning, rain, hail or shine, some 50 or more stallholders representing the regions locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables, picked the day before or first thing that morning, gather in the historic school grounds. A wonderful variety of locally produced artisan foods from pickles, relishes, sauces and jams, to fresh baking, hot wood smoked fish, fresh beef and lamb cuts, free range eggs and specialty foods that appeal to vegetarian and gluten free enthusiasts too.
