Enjoy the views of Tauranga and Mount Maunganui from the M*A*S*H chopper – the Korean War era ‘Warbird’ Bell 47 helicopter as seen on the famous TV show. You and a friend will enjoy spectacular, unrestricted 180-degree panoramic views of the beautiful Bay of Plenty, from the ‘big bubble’ cabin – it’s perfect for photos and video.

The M*A*S*H chopper is painted with ‘M*A*S*H’ titles on each side, a red ‘cross’ on the lower forward ‘bubble’, US Army ‘Stars and Stripes’ on the fuel tanks and the name of the famous war hospital on its tail.

Based on a special M*A*S*H camp, constructed on the grass area ‘airside’ of the Kiwi Kopters hangar -- itself very high profile at the entrance to Tauranga City Airport -- the camp features the tents, rock gardens, 44-gallon drums and signage as was seen on the TV show. It is truly a unique venue for passengers awaiting their scenic flight.

Daylight packages begin at just NZ$110 per passenger (minimum 2 people) for a 12 minute scenic flight in one of the worlds most unique and recognisable helicopters.
